That's a hit to our already small numbers at the safety position. I was looking forwarded to seeing him play more this year but can completely understand wanting to take care of your back. Back injuries can be some of the most painful ones.

Zed's back problem is news to me. Has this been mentioned as a problem he has been dealing with ? I'm sorry to see his career end this way.

What happens to his scholly spot? Do we honor it and keep him a part of the program, or is Zed forced to fend for the remaining tuition costs? He was working a graduate degree.
