The non-conference schedule has the team traveling to Houston and Oklahoma State and home against Arizona and New Mexico. Going 2-2 is not out of the realm of possibility with the Houston game being the swing game if the defense and rush offense step up. The conference rotation schedule plays right into their hands as they avoid playing East Division favorites Marshall and Middle Tennessee State. They travel to Rice looking to avenge the 27-21 home loss and end the season with a home game against in-state opponent North Texas. The Roadrunners should be able to secure their first birth in the C-USA championship game if the transition into the Tucker Carter era is a smooth one and the defense is able to improve on the paltry 283.3 YPG passing average.

At least they didn't say "in state rival".

No, they only said we are an "in-state opponent" the Roadrunners play just before they secure their first birth in a C-USA championship game.

We go 9-4, win a bowl game big, and we are still trying to get respect.

I'm understanding Rodney Dangerfield more and more by the day.

Payback is a bitch.

Not sure what this means being that I don't see NT's ranking. Weird site, see random ranking of various schools but no listing.

Did see their Heart of Dallas bowl prediction for the last years bowl with UNLV being the pick.

It would be nice to beat them on the field before we beat on them off the field.

As long as we don't beat them off on the field, everything should be fine.
