6'2" 192 lb safety from Skyline. We have offered. Also holds offers from UCLA, Wisconsin, Washington State, and Memphis. Surprising that we offered him almost 3 months after we offered 3 of his teammates. His body fits the mold of the outside linebackers we've been recruiting lately. Probably a safety in college, but something to consider.

Man I would like to see us make more inroads in DISD but the competition is pretty tough. They have top tier programs nationally hitting the best players pretty hard.

Maybe offer this kid a shot at coming in and playing qb? Take a look at his senior highlights. He doesn't have a beautiful release, but it's definitely not ugly either. Pretty good looking ball. I sure wouldn't mind giving him a shot, and he obviously could help elsewhere of qb didn't work out. Also would like his teammate Rollinson.

You want inroads, go Frisco ISD, DISD and Mesquite ISD that alone should get you 4-5 guys a year, the rest come from east Texas.

And we haven't offered? What the hell is wrong with us?

We have offered. But, like his 8 other offers, we offered him as a defensive player before this season started. This is his first year playing qb, on the varsity level. Prior to this year he was playing safety for Skyline but, at 6'3" 200+ lbs also projected potentially as a linebacker in college.

However, he has absolutely lit it up at qb this year. Not just being an athlete playing qb, but being amazingly efficient. 25 touchdown passes against 0 interceptions and an outstanding 70%+ completion percentage. I'm not sure any of the other schools are considering giving him a shot at playing qb in college since they, like us, offered him prior to this season as a defensive player. But I think it'd be a great idea to offer him a shot to come in and play qb. That could give us the edge over some of these big-time programs that have also offered him.
