UNT recruiting target series — Cade Erwin

Cade Erwin heard a lot about Apogee Stadium, UNT’s new football venue, over the course of the last few years while developing into a top college prospect at Flower Mound Marcus.

A recent visit to the school showed the all-around athlete that there is a whole lot more UNT has to offer than just its stadium.

“I was definitely impressed with the facilities,” Erwin said. “I knew they had a new stadium, but I didn’t know that they had dorms and the athletic center right there.”

This commitment may mean we just locked up Creighton Barr as well. I believe Vito's recruiting series on Barr said we are recruiting him at center.

Hopefully this will help land Evan Curl and Creighton Barr.

This class has and will be focused on offensive linemen, defensive linemen, receivers, and DBs. But to me the success of this class hinges on the offensive linemen, in particular the tackles.

Apparently we are hoping to sign 3 tackles. I think we need to land at least 2 out of Bryce Wilds, Evan Curl, and Larry Hughes.

I hope so too. There is another that I like really well and that's Riley Daniel from Ringling OK. He's a little bigger (6-6, 310) and the Daily Oklahoman lists him in their Top 10.

Praying about it? Must be another Josh Hamilton not following the money but going where God needs him.

I wish this kid nothing but the best but kinda curious on why he decided to decommit. A better offer must of come along
