6'2" 287 lb guard from Sherman high school. Former Texas commit. Has offers from schools like USC, Oklahoma State, Baylor and Ole Miss but interestingly we are currently ahead of those schools and in his top 5, according to Rivals. We are listed in his top 5, as well as Auburn, Arizona State, Texas, and Texas Tech (Rivals not showing an offer from them).

Hard to see how he still has us as one of his top schools being he has offers from USC and Oklahoma.

If we don't believe we have something to offer then we can't expect others to. I have zero problem seeing how he'd choose my alma mater.

I also believe that our coaches may draw him in our direction. McCarney and Simmonds might be better developers than others. The predictors at 247 have him going to Auburn. It doesn't mean that they are right...just that last year's #2 is the highest profile.

Texas just received their 4th o-line commitment for 2015. Auburn also has 4 linemen committed (although guard Marquell Harrell has been a very shaky commit and still looking around). I hope we keep pushing hard for this kid. Not only would it be huge to land a kid with this type of offer list, but he could push for playing time early with both our guards graduating.
