6'0" 180 lb athlete from Austin. Was selected to the 3rd team All CenTex football team last year for his play as a defensive back, despite playing for a private school. Houston played all over the place, as a cornerback, safety, running back, receiver, and return man. He could project to multiple positions in college. We have offered, along with Iowa State, Tulsa, Idaho, and Sam Houston State.

Safety? Nah. Who really knows to be honest. If he's elusive put him on O and returning kicks. If he has quick hips, a knack for breaking on the ball, and good close out speed put him at CB. At safety North Texas likes head busters, and at 180 he's not going to be bustin too many heads.

Yup. Both our safeties were at or below 190 last year and they were a junior and a fifth-year senior.

Hell, if the kids got 1 and 2 step change of direction, burst ability, good hips, and tackle solid to great he's playing safety at UNT. Clearly coach Briles saw something bc Baylor doesn't extend offers to slouches anymore.

VERBAL to Baylor

Houston said he chose Baylor over schools like Kansas State, Purdue, Idaho, Tulsa, North Texas and New Mexico State. He’s anxious to play at Baylor’s new McLane Stadium, and plans to attend the first game Aug. 31 against SMU.
