Super early bowl predictions on CBS

Calls for UNT to play Fresno St on Christmas Eve in Hawaii. Might not get a lot of people traveling for that game and it's definitely too early for predictions to be accurate, but it's always nice to be getting some attention.

Since Hawaii was C-USA's #2 bowl (after the Liberty), does Hawaii now expect to get the C-USA champ? Anyone know?

I thought that the champ would get to select their bowl.

Somebody's got to go to Hawaii from CUSA...not my first, second, third, fourth, or fifth choice, but if it means we go bowling again, I'll take it right now.

Wikipedia shows the order of priority (from last year) as follows:

• #1 The Liberty Bowl versus SEC #8.
• #2 The Hawai'i Bowl versus Mountain West #5.
• #3 The Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl ^[3] versus AAC #6.
• #4 The Heart of Dallas Bowl versus Big Ten #7.
• #5 The Military Bowl versus ACC #8.
• #6 The New Orleans Bowl versus Sun Belt #1.

Typically the bowls get the choice, but the conference has some say in the matter. That would be nice if the champ got first choice, runner-up got 2nd choice, etc. I've just never heard of it being done quite that way.
