Great job on these Brett!

The one thing that's standing out to me is when these guys plan on making their decision. A lot of them plan on waiting until after their senior season is over. Between FBS transfers like Sam Rice, the Jackson twins, possibly Blake Bean, 3 grayshirts (Chumley, Shaq Jackson, and Jon Graham) all counting towards this class, as well as potentially getting a few JUCOs this class, there may not be many spots left in this class by the time these kids' senior season are over.

Of course we'll have some spots left, and a few of these guys we'll make room for whenever they want to commit, but the spots will be more limited. Plenty of players who we offered early were no longer being recruited by us once their season was over. Then again, some of these kids may have a big senior season and get some bigger offers once it's over, like Xavier Washington. So it certainly can be a big gamble.

That being said, I think we're set to have one of the busiest and most exciting summers we've had since early commitments has become the trend.

A lot of these guys are hoping for big senior seasons but with the way recruiting is going by tht time most classes have really filled up thus limiting options.

I'm dying for our first verbal.mshould be anytime now one would think.

Oh Arkansas offered? Guess he's intrigued by the idea of going 1-7 in conference play and 3-9 overall. Because that is exactly where Arkansas will be at for the next 2-3 years, at least. Their entire offense has Q marks aside from RB, and their '14 signing class isn't going to solve those problems. UA's D is like the Dan Le Batard TV show, highly questionable. Go ahead though and run to that "name brand."

How could you possibly know what Arkansas is going to do in the next 2-3 years?

Also, maybe lay off statements like "go ahead and run to that name brand" on a recruits thread.

I know what Arkansas is going to do because the past has a way of repeating itself. I am from Arkansas and followed their team for years. They have a way of being subpar most years and celebrating 8-win seasons. Exception to this was the Petrino era where he played to the teams' strengths. The new guy in town, Bret Bielema, is trying to turn that program into a Wisconsin/Bama type team. That's not gonna work at Arkansas.

As for knowing how they will perform, go look at their roster. Their options at QB will produce pedestrian play at best. This "rebuilding" effort that Bielema has in place will take 3-4 years, and that's if he lands the type of talent he needs. Arkansas historically recruits the state of Arkansas heavily and Arkansas doesn't offer a well of talent, usually. Just putting what I see on the table. Williams hasn't even committed yet and if Ar has offered a couple more P5's will probably follow suit, so relax a little.

It's because you said "guess he's intrigued by the idea of going 1-7 in conference play and 3-9 overall." And "go ahead and run to that 'name brand.'"

Why shouldn't he be excited and intrigued about an SEC offer? Why wouldn't he give them a serious look?

Billy, you're trying to be reasonable on a wildly unreasonable board. These are the same people (on the board) that ripped X for choosing to get an education from Northwestern rather than UNT.

Stupid? It was a logical comment that in a couple years will come to fruition. Arkansas will be a doormat for years to come, period. However, he's a really good football player and I wish Williams all the best wherever he does end up.

Why do you think that Beliema's system will not work at Arkansas? I have family all over Arkansas, some that are pretty big donors, that believe he already has them headed in the right direction.

What has he possibly done for them to think that? It's a sinking ship and until they get someone else in there that likes to spread it out it's going to continue to sink.

Ummm ..... y'all do realize that Jordan Williams and Jordon Williams, whose tweet y'all are arguing about, are two different players, right?

This thread started about Jordan Williams, a 2015 LB from Paris, and has turned into an argument about Jordon Williams, a 2015 DB from Jersey Village.

The Jersey Village DB got the Arkansas offer. Not the Paris LB.
