6'3" 185 lb athlete, plays quarterback for his school. Also holds offers from Louisiana Lafayette, Indiana, Houston, and Mcneese State.

Not sure what position his offers are for, but he's not a bad looking qb prospect. I just don't know if we're going to go with a dual threat type this year. Especially with the type of guys we have at the top of the depth chart, as well as Caleb Chumley coming in, who will supposedly start off at qb. So who knows?

Central quarterback Michael Jacquet has a more definitive plan for making his college decision. According to his Twitter account, Jacquet will announce his college commitment on July 21.

While he has not narrowed his college list down yet, Jacquet holds offers from Indiana, Utah, Houston, Louisiana-Lafayette, North Texas and Texas State among others.

One big reason Jacquet wants to commit early is so that he can focus on the regular season.

"I really don't want to think about it during the season," said Jacquet, who is being offered by most schools as a wide receiver. "I just want to focus on the season."

"It's a lot to think about," Jacquet said. "It's basically the hardest decision a teenager has to make."

Jacquet said that he has leaned on teammates and friends like Locke, who are going through the recruiting process at the same time, to get advice.

"P.J. has really helped me through this recruiting process," Jacquet said. "He got me started off. He taught me. He made it a lot easier."

No bueno

It's unsure, but it appears Marks has never visited Nevada and they just barely offered 2 weeks ago. Would be a very interesting commitment if he did choose them, to say the least.
