any word on how his grades are?? I just cant bring myself to believe someone of his size and speed doesn't have 20 plus offers.

His production has not been great to this point. Was only 5th on his high school team in receiving last year. To be fair, there was very little seperation yardage-wise between him and the 3rd and 4th leading receiver. He had 368 yards and 4 scores.

He has the skill set, he's apparently done well at practices, 7on7, etc. He just has to produce more when the lights are on. Which can be both a good thing and a bad thing for us. Because there are plenty of big schools keeping a close eye on him in case he does just that.

Bendy finished the regular season with 365 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns on 22 catches.

Wow. That's not a killer season. Is TJT just a run-heavy offense or something?

Reminds me of Means' lackluster Sr. year. Looking forward to seeing what Bendy can do here.

No, they've passed for over 2000 yards. Bendy was third on the team in receiving. Keeping track of him this year, he's just had a disappointing season.

That could be the best thing that happened to us all year. :)

IDK about that. has anyone seen a game he has played in. I wonder if he just has a hard time getting open or if it is the offense not going deep often. with his reported speed, there should be no reason he isn't getting open downfield but if the offense (QB) doesn't do that, then it doesn't play to his strength. also, i wonder if he isn't quite explosive enough with his direction changing ability. i know that is something that a redshirt year can fix but it is still something to be wary of.

Bendy didnt record a catch last night as Tyler John Tyler defeated Mansfield Summit last night to advance to the third round, with a 44-27 win. Not sure if he's hurt or didn't play for another reason.

Edit: apparently he did play

If staff wants a HS QB, I think we could land McCollister. Kid has good size and very mobile. Had over 400 total yards last night. A current UCA commit who visited us this summer.

Random, but I heard in the first few years unt charged a very steep price to play in their stadium. Only recently did they lower it to make it an affordable venue to choose.

He is one of the more raw talents in this class. The hope is they will be able to develop him. He has some size and skills that you just can't teach. It will be interesting to follow his development.
