6'3" 215 lb player from Fort Bend/Missouri City Elkins high school. Plays on the d-line but could project to linebacker in college. Pretty good closing speed. Apparently had a 39.7" vertical at the Houston Sparq combine and ran a 4.68 40 (laser-timed). Sparq score actually ranked right up with the top ones in the country. Also holds a Colorado State offer.

This may just be a sign of the times (there are already 60+ kids from Texas committed to different schools) but does anyone remember us putting out this many offers this early?

Recruiting is becoming an offseason season. It use to be just handshakes and it was done. But with the sense of entitlement in the up and coming they all (a lot) think they are divas. So if you dont offer early it's looked at as a sign of disrespect. The tv exposure these 16, 17, and 18 year olds are getting when they commit is mind boggling. It gets almost unbearable to watch on signing day. Some of the players almost do a skit with hats, trees, frisbees, tee shirts, Gatorade bottles, etc.Its hitting the point that teams have to go after recruits early to even be considered in the race. It's a debacle that CFB coaches have let the players create with pampering and special treatment, aka cheating.

it started way before coaches started pampering the divas. Parents, teachers, hell society in general has created this entitlement mentality. The way things are going, it's only going to get worse.
