And keep making up baseless accusations to support your agenda.

If they were baseless, Penn St would have never agreed to the sanctions. They KNEW the information was damning.

Did you follow the story at all?

Do you think Penn State would have come out better had they disagreed with the sanctions? Why draw out the ordeal by disagreeing? What would they have possibly gained? I think they wanted the story buried as quickly as possible and accepting most any penalty was what their game plan unless they were going to be told to not play football for a season or two.

They wanted the story buried because they knew the full details of the coverup would affect them for decades as an institution of higher learning, much less a P5 football program.

We got the full details if Sandusky's acts at his trial. We did not get any details of actions associated with the coverup.

They made sure the evidence was damning. Otherwise, their actions in scapegoating a legendary head coach would have been roundly condemned, and are beginning to become roundly condemned by some of the same people who were insisting they do so.

By Pedo St. Alumni?

By you?

Where is this great condemnation? And do you agree with it?

Ya, no cover up at all, that's why this is still ongoing:

I don't believe that Graham Spanier did all he could have or should have done. He dropped the ball. Even on his part, I'm not convinced that "cover-up" is the right description.

I think the state of Pennsylvania obviously disagrees. He perjured himself to protect state U

Do you think anyone, especially a Penn St. fan writing for bleacher report, gives 2 craps about the "collateral damage of no marching band?" Seriously? That is just a sad justification that really screams "we want our football and will use any excuse to get it."

When Did Bob Costas suddenly become judge and jury in reviewing the evidence? And you do realize this went MUCH higher than the head coach, right? (I will give you that Costas was the interrogator of Sandusky, though).

3 people are indicted for lying about their roles to a grand jury. Pretty much the definition of cover up.

Phil Knight? What does his "opinion" matter in this thing?

Whose opinions were you looking for? I answered your question, didn't I?

Wait, you mean to say lying on the stand in a court of justice never happens?!?!

Happens a lot. Especially by people who are trying to COVER UP things.

Don't forget, they are also charged with failure to report child abuse. You know, for COVERING UP Sandusky's crime in the nmr of almighty Joe Pa and good ole Pedo St.

Thing is, perjury is rarely charged because its difficult to prove. Guess not in this case.
