Our athletic director came on the gomeangreen podcast and stated pretty clearly that Canales wasn't viewing this as a job audition, and that RV was not going to consider him either.

If Canales ends up going somewhere else, one of the first questions he will be asked is who he has been recruiting and who he has in the pipeline.  As a coach you don't stop recruiting.  Ever.  I don't see why it has to automatically be a negative about North Texas.
