Leave SMU broadcast team rather than announce for SMU against their own alma mater!

That is true dedication. Bass showed the foresight to quit before the series was even announced.

Phillips was a little slower to realize the magnitude of the situation, but made up for it by leaving the Ticket alltogether to protest SMU being on their airwaves.

A great day for the Mean Green Nation.
