Mike Jarvis was a pretty well respected former head coach of a top program, correct? Seems like it can happen anywhere.

On the bright side, if Benny keeps bringing in graduates and Jucos, they don't have much time to transfer and hurt the APR.

I wish we had just left the Florida schools in the sunbelt... even if Tulane and Tulsa wouldn't have stayed. They are really dragging down the conference.

It's not like we had a choice...the league wanted them.

I just don't understand why... I mean I do (replace the Florida school leaving and the market) yet I don't... A lot of other better options. Even leave rom open for if someone wanted to come back...

To each his own. They very well could big major schools in the next ten years. I just am not interested in either one. I rather have taken Lafayette or heck even Texas state for more local games.

Well yeah...for US that would make sense. Maybe not so much for the Eastern schools.

Well I figure with ECU leaving it would tak one away however there are a few more. I would prefer the conference be focused in the south. They just added to many people because they were desperate with so many school leaving for the AAC.

In fact everyone complained about this a year or two ago.... On these very boards and in the CUSA boards

Look I have no question we weren't happy...I know that. But the eastern schools didn't want the conference to be lopsided to the west. I guess I flunked geography, but the Florida schools are in the south. Definitely more south than Marshall.

Deep South. I think Florida is part of the east coast when it comes to logistics at least. I always hear Florida referred to as an east coast school. Although generally when I hear east coast I think of NYC, New Jersey, biggie etc...
