WR's this spring

Doesn't seem as though anyone from the WR corp has really stepped up to be the go to guy. The names I've heard the most are Kidsy, Terrell, and Jon Chelf. The current group of guys better watch out for when Goree, Rutherford, and Davis get in town!

I think we know what we have in Harris. He'll be doing alot of the same jet sweep type stuff that he was doing last year (as well as Brelan). And he'll give us some big catches too.

Kidsy & Harris will be the 1/2 punch. I expect Willie Ivery to get some touches in the slot when they choose to spread it out. Obviously Goree is going to have something to say about getting pt. I think the WR corps is pretty solid, young and inexperienced, but nevertheless still solid.

Is WR Camerin Brown a walk on or transfer? 6-2, 205 from McKinney (TX) Liberty HS.

Vito reported Brown caught a TD pass in the scrimmage.

I was glad to see Turner Smiley, 6-0, 187, RS Fr from Frisco, caught some passes

in the scrimmage too.

How about 6-5 WR Clayton Adams from Grandbury? I hope he is having a good spring.

Clayton is another big receiver that could be a good addition to the team.

The best thing that could come out of this spring at the position would be Terrell proving he can do a little something.

His name seemed to come up in the Sat scrimmage notes a bit. In a good way. You think he may play against Texas with a sizable chip on his shoulder?

Not to hijack this thread, but it won't matter who steps up if the guy under center can't get them the ball.

Harris and Kidsy are solid. Terrell will see plenty of playing time bc of his size and blocking ability as a WR.

Will be interesting to see who comes in and makes an impact in fall camp. Lots of possibilities. Should be one of best competitions for pt.
