I don't know his specific situation after spring practice. Was he a projected starter or not, if that was the issue? Maybe it was something else like the school is harder, or he is homesick, or left a girl behind at SH? -

Obviously money is the easy thing to see here. But, deep down, should we be concerned about anything else? He played for his DC at SHS and liked him enough to follow him to Denton. Then, after one spring with Morris, he's gone. Hope it is only money, honestly. And/or a bad agent.
