good season though

yeah, really good season. Bringing most of the roster back next year so y'all should have a good season next year too. Do something to y'all's football stadium though. Wooden crates for concession stands were pretty bad. Facilities are a reflection of the conference. I do think y'all's football team will be much improved.

When guest from other schools come on the site you don't diss their facilities, especially since this is a b-ball forum. Not to mention we aren't so far removed from playing in Fouts that we can be pretentious about everyone else's stadiums.

On another random note: does anyone else think 3 tournaments outside the NCAA is too much? This may show my ignorance but this was my first year to be aware of CBI and CIT. The NIT is a great opportunity for teams that got snubbed by the NCAA but are 2 more really necessary?

Been saying it for years. Pretty sure I got blasted for it. But it's ridiculous. 68 in the big dance and 64 in the NIT and that's it. Get rid of these other tournaments already.

There are 32 in the NIT. The NIT used to have 40, but when they cut back - the CBI jumped in. It was decent enough of a success that the CIT started the following year.

Right now between the four tournaments 132 of 351 schools play postseason basketball - or roughly 38%. That is much less than play in the Bowl games. Hell, it's less than play in the NBA playoffs!

They are not even really televised

The CBI does have some of it televised. Not all of it by any stretch, but the Finals are (two quarterfinal games were as well).
