Time to re-train the ladder truck driver or something. His farting around almost cost this dude his life. S/O to the fireman on the ladder who was able to tell the other ones what to do from way up there.

Sorry didnt see this thread before posting video in the other. As I said again, this rescue shows the importance off accurate ladder truck placement. You usually get one shot at it and it's gotta count. Fortunately here it just did.

I'm guessing he was maybe concentrating on the top of the building that was about to collapse ? The man on the ladder was in great danger as well. Edited March 26, 2014 by NT03

There were two on the ladder, and just a guess here, but the one at the top was trying to get the second one to go back down because ladders are only rated to allow no more than two men at the tip without water or one with water at that angle.
