Nice wins for the ladies after disappointing losses to Louisville and Denver.

Beat Liberty (former Asst Maren is their HC) 6-1

Monday beat New Mexico

#5/6 Singles is still a point of worry with 2 Freshmen playing there. Especially #6 is not winning enough regardless of who is in.

Followed up with a 4-1 victory Saturday over Conference USA foe Louisiana Tech. Junior Spinkmeyer back at #1 doubles and played at #6 singles slot after 6-months absence due to injury. I assume she will move up after she gets back into playing shape. This should strengthen the team in both doubles and singles. Conference tournament coming up in mid-April.

Nice win over La Tech, will be interesting at Conference if La Tech gets their #2 player back, still think ladies win but will be a little tighter, but is nice to have the vet back at #6.

      Don't get to far ahead of our self we will have to #hit6 first. I would act like this bowl is bad. if your team was better we would be in a better bowl. like I said before, I do not care which bowl, just win.

      Around the League / UNT Opponents

      as mentioned in another thread, three pretty easy wins last night (11/19) for Rice, Tulane and Charlotte. Evansville lost 80-30 to Ohio State. UNI won. not all, but the most interesting games coming up: tonight (11/20) - not a ton...Tulsa host UALR (who already blew out UTSA), but if Tulsa is any good should take care of. 11/21 - Memphis @ San Francisco ; FAU v. Oklahoma State (3 day tourney...would play Miami or Drake next) ; Oregon State host Oregon ; Houston Christian v. Rice ; ECU v. Jacksonville State (3 day tourney...would play Toledo or Stetson next) 11/22 - Utah State v. Iowa and St. Louis v. Wichita State (same venue, but not a tourney) ; McNeese v. Illinois State and UAB v. Longwood (same side of bracket) ; Temple v. Florida State ; ECU/FAU game 2 of 3 11/23 - Temple v. UMASS 11/24 - High Point v. Missouri State (3 day tourney...would play ODU or Boston College next) there will be more games 11/23 and 11/24 as some of these tournaments shake out, but definitely some interesting games starting tomorrow

      Texas Wesleyan (11/21/24)

      Texas Wesleyan is one of those athlete mill schools that take advantage of kids/parents who really want to be a college athlete. The majority of students at the school are athletes and the teams will take almost anyone to be on the roster as long as they can qualify for an overpriced college loan to afford the tuition.
