I noticed in yesterdays ST sports section that UT and Charley Stong (the "Comin' on Strong" tour) will be having their Fort Worth event at Joe T's. on April 21st. $15 for adults and $8 for youth.

Good, cause outside of an ok Margarita and their sister cafe Esperanza's breakfast burritos, Joe T's sux. Crappy location and parking and again is in the stockyards.

Couldn't agree more. Joe T's is mainly for tourist. They do have a pretty large garden area for large groups and the parking isn't as bad as the middle of the Stockyards.

I just assumed that the athletic department had decided that TCU owns Fort Worth and that very few Mean Greenies would show up in Fort Worth. It seems a bit defeatist, but maybe that is the mindset.

Here's the real question: when will the Caravan hit Phoenix? Coaches, President or really anything...if you do a big official event everywhere you have a decent number of alumni, that's a hell of a way to start pulling people back into the fold. I'm DEFINITELY not driving to Gainesville.

This is my first official post. I am a 1980 grad of NTSU and have bled green ever since and I am from Gainesville, Texas. We cannot wait for the Caravan. First State Bank is a big sponsor of the Mean Green and the even twill be held in the Bank's Conference Center. It should be nice, avoid the traffic and come up North. WinStar is 10 minutes away! Go Mean Green!
