It's off season, and I just found this on an old zip disk I was about to trash. So, show of hands, who remembers logging in to this:

I believe that was first put up after the 2001 regular season, maybe Late November or Early December?

I have about a dozen old 3.5 floppy disks. Last year I hooked up a USB 3.5 drive but I was only able to recover data from one disk. It contained some of my written assignments from college freshman English. I though I had written some good things but looking at it 24 years later it's not very good at all.

Speaking of which ... I shouldn't be old enough to be 24 years from my freshman year of college. Man, time flies when you're getting old.

It was a little shock to me to realize that gif is now old enough to be in junior high.

Also, I think I got the dates wrong, the original EE logo didn't have any animation, and I think that came out in 2000. This logo was the second version of the animated one, and it did come out in the 2001 time frame I was talking about.

In 2002 we changed the name to the Mean Green Report, and we used this logo:

I'm impressed you still have a working zip DRIVE that could read a zip disk!

I had to search high and low for someone who still had one, and it worked long enough to get data off of one disk before it went to that great big Best Buy in the sky.
