Tech will never win a national title. The kid appears to have more interest in putting up video game like numbers, than winning a conference title.

Whatever floats his boat. I would be happy to take a kid in Denton that passes up the big boys.

What does he have to do with UNT? We're not even listed with an offer. Or, did I miss something?

I believe I said the same thing in my first sentence. Maybe that's what you missed.

No, I didn't miss it. Reading the thread title "Tech", I'm thinking Louisiana Tech.''

Carry on.

I live in Texas, was born in Texas and have always lived in Texas, and I don't immediately think of Texas Tech when someone says, "Tech". There are many "Techs". Va Tech, La Tech, Tx Tech, Ga Tech, ITT Tech.

That's strange. I've never had a conversation with anyone in the state of Texas where people were simply saying "Tech" and didn't mean Texas Tech.

Cal Tech, Colorado Tech, Florida Tech, Massachusetts Institute of Tech, India Institute of Technology in Kanpur, ...there are very many "Techs", but I would say most understood who I was talking about. Next time I'll be incredibly specific for some.

Good. I thought Technotronic was recruiting new members to bring back that sweet early 90's house/pop sound.

I thought they'd found someone who could help them Pump Up The Jam again, but now I'm disappointed. TEXAS Tech? Come on, man! BE PRECISE!

I've always said and known the Techs to be:

Louisiana Tech = "La Tech"

Virginia Tech = "Va Tech"

Georgia Tech = "Georgia Tech"

Texas Tech = "Tech"

I would never assume someone who said A&M was speaking of Florida A&M or any other A&M besides Texas A&M. In Texas, Tech is Texas Tech.
