Other Tigers play Georiga tonight. Need a win

If anyone needs a post season BB fix, the Lone Star Conference (DII) championship game is at 5:30 in Allen. Midwestern St vs Tarelton St

Are you going to also guess that they will be Oklahoma state in the first round?

Does someone have that as a projected 8/9 matchup? I was thinking OSU as a 10. Edited by CMJ

ESPN. I just assumed that you had looked at it before you made that comment. I would enjoy watching that game. I dislike both teams but I would root for OSU.

I look at Lunardi religiously about 4-5 days out. He doesn't usually update daily till around a week before Selection Sunday. If that 8 seed projection was before their loss today, I'm sorta surprised. Just a few days ago I was thinking SMU might be a 5 or 6, but they've lost two straight.

Benny has turned me into a casual SMU Basketball fan.

I feel so dirty.

I watched this entire game and was pulling for them, but I'm never sad when they lose...

I root for them, but it makes me angry that our Bball program isn't even a threat to a top 100 team.

Before today they had an rpi of 43 and sos of 115. They do have a few quality wins, but even 8 seems a little high.

We may not even be a threat to a top 100 Div 2 or NAIA team.

I guess if anything... It's just neat to see what a local team who made a good hire, as opposed to the worst possible abomination of a head coach, can accomplish.

My only solace is the hope that Larry's boys are of low character and won't know how to feed their babies.

You really think Frazier is a LR cancer?? He's the first one up on the bench for a good play, or hustling to help teammates up. Curious where you get he's a cancer. It is amazing how people will simply blast kids these days with 0 knowledge of the situations.

      A personal fav: It was more "how" they lost. As other posters have commented, the offense has no flow, no purpose and zero situational awareness. The whole thing looks like a discombobulated goat rodeo, and I watched the second half of the second half, which was light years better than the first. They scored 3 baskets and 14 points in the first half. More turnovers than made baskets. That is next-level incompetence, and I can't believe all these players suddenly forgot how to play basketball at a high level. ...also, the obligatory "I was a 30+ year season ticket holder until I saw this mess" statement by a frustrated fan. Ever read that before?

      Watched the game on Youtube last night. Couple of thoughts/observations. 1. What is the purpose of the raised court? I think Vandy has one as well. Seems like it poses an injury threat to the players. 2. Man, we missed a lot of open shots. 3. Our defense completely took them out of their game. If we can play that D and find our offense, then this team will be tough to beat. 4. Big 10 refs suck. 5. I know many on here are critical of him, but Sissoko's growth has been fun to watch. 6. Thank goodness we have Walker. What a leader and calming presence for our team. Love his game.
