Ok, this is not Andrew. However, I just looked at the bracket and I think IF only only if our bigs can get their act together we can beat Rice and Tulane and set up a game against Tulsa. If we can play well we can compete with Tulsa. So winning 3 games and setting up a semi game with I believe would be MUTS, where we would probably lose. I just wanted to throw it out there, Rice, Tulane, and Tulsa are all 3 beatable. Call me wishful thinking, call it what you want, but it COULD happen.

I think everyone but LA Tech and UTEP are beatable for us.

Rice (Win), Tulane (Win), Tulsa (Win), Middle Tennessee (Win), LA Tech/ UTEP (lose)... Though I wish we could win. We lucked out with drawing Middle and Tulsa. We played well against both at home and neither team is fantastic by any means...

Hey, well that seems plausible, let's look back at how we did this season against those beatable teams:

Rice: Loss

Tulane: Loss

Tulsa: Loss to twice by big margins

Middle Tennessee: Loss

So where did you draw these assumed wins from?

A. If margin in 20 point or more. Last game with Tulsa was very close. In fact all of these opponents we have played very close.m Edited by Andrew

We lost one game by 31 and the other by 10.

I meant to just refer to the last one and then the rest of our games against the other possible opponents. 10 points is just a regular lose.

You're right. Under Benford, double digit home losses have become the norm. Thanks for using your vast basketball intellect to point that out.

Double digits. That's a vague term. That can be losing by 10 points or by 99 points. I'm pretty sure there is a better way of categorizing them then just simply "double digit loses". There is a big gap between 10 and 31.

Either way I would like to win at least a couple games in El Paso

Ya ..21 points...big difference...yet...still losses...you always say winning by 1 against a bad team is still a win...thus...losing by 10 or 31 is still a double digit loss...

We're 0-8 versus the top 7 teams in the conference. Think about that for a second: after 8 tries, not a single win against a conference mate that didn't have a losing CUSA record.

We have a shot to beat Rice, maybe, but zero shot beyond that. Given the talent on this team, 6-10 in conference is simply unacceptable.
