Cuban: D-League over NCAA

It's Mark Cuban, so some of it is just over-sensationalized but he does make some good points, and note that it's mostly the "one year before NBA" guys he is discussing, not necessarily the whole system. He has a lot of the same complaints we do, about how for so many schools it's just a charade and guys would be better served with a real system to instill life success.

There are some good points. Kids going to a 4-year university knowing they are only going to play one year of ball is a joke.

But what about the kids who don't realize their supposed potential? They go to D-league for a year, and it becomes clear that they really aren't NBA material. At that point, they are no longer eligible to go to college on a basketball scholarship.

That would be a huge step. I really don't see that happening, but I guess you never know.
