From Chad Davis' high school. Really hope we're going strong after this kid. If we could pull him or Larry Hughes we could have a legitimate left tackle of the future. Both are 6'7" and we're the first to offer Hughes and, since we're the second to offer Jones, hopefully we can get a big lead on either of them before the big schools come in. Akamnonu would be as well, but K-State would be really tough to beat out and I'm sure he has more offers to come.

We really don't have a true left tackle on our roster once Antonio Johnson graduates.

This is our 9th o-line offer, I believe. I think we have 8 d-line offers, so pretty safe to say we are working the trenches this class, as we should.

He has a lot of interest, so he will get a lot more offers. Excellent student also. First love was basketball and he plays on the basketball team. Has older brother that also hoops. Older brother played te and de...had D1 football talent, but quit to focus on basketball. older brother signed hoop scholarship with Cal Bakersfield this year.

jj probably wishes he could focus on basketball and play college basketball also, but he is too heavy. He has really just learned to play football, so he has a lot of upside. If a team gives him a chance, to hoop and play football, that would probably be a dream come true for him, but most likely impossible since he is an o line, and they will put weight on him.

He's a quiet dude and his brother is the opposite. I can see him playing close to home. I heard UT had some interest.
