Softball that is,... They are undefeated at Lovelace so far. They play Whichita State at 2:30 tomorrow.

BTW,... It's WAY early but going by her resume and results so far this year, Coach Tracey Kee may be one of RV's best hires to date.

4 of those 12 she won 50 games...

Considering the flat out deep talent she now has close proximity to recruit from, and if we get her everything she needs this woman might do great things for NT.

Interesting, in that this year's team is all the previous coach's players. I think that have had a fantastic start but the record is a little deceiving with most of the wins at home against not exactly stellar competition. We will know more when the competition heats up after the third home tournament in a row.

I was wondering what the difference was between this team and last years. I hope Vito does an article soon discussing the changes the new coach has made.

Mean Green lost a close one to Wichita State 6-5 when WSU broke a 3-3 tie with two runs in the bottom of the 6th. NT battled back and had the tying run at 3rd and go ahead at 1st, with Two outs and a shot to the fence but it was caught to end the game.

Wichita St is now 3-0 against C-USA teams.

Second game against McNeese just starting.

McNeese is good with wins over A&M and Alabama. We are not a deep team but we should compete well in conference.
