Offensive lineman from Midland. Plays for Midland Christian School. Plays left tackle for his school. Interesting to see an offer out to West Texas. Didn't do much recruiting there last cycle, but there's still some good football out there. Wilson also holds an SMU offer.

My son goes to school there. He is an impressive OL on a team that has won 3 straight private school state titles.

With the way this class is focusing on the offensive and defensive lines, you're likely to see us take 5 or more on each side of the line of scrimmage. When you take that many, guys like Wilson are really nice to have. Guys who can play inside or play tackle on offense, and guys who could play end or have enough natural size to move inside to the 3 tech. See where they project best/would help the team most.

I wouldn't mind us spending some time in West Texas. I know I posted that recruiting in the area is down because the money and coaches for specialist coaching isn't there, but there are still a lot of touch kids there. The kind of kids that I think Mac would love and would flourish in a "be physical, be more physical, keep being physical" system.
