Well, who knows why the jerseys are still in the warehouse. But I'm curious as to when NT had any sort of baseball team for which the University bought uniforms.

Southland Conference in the 1980s. Maybe these were discovered when they cleared out Fouts before the demolition? I can't see that they would have held on to them otherwise.
