Jason Ball played several years of arena league ball before injuring his back. Was one of UNT's great punters and kickers. Played for the Columbus and Denver teams.

As did Keith Chapman, Richard DeFelice and Umar Muhamad. Chapman kicked for the AFL's Original Dallas Texans. Brad Winn was an OL man for Toronto. One of the Dickey era players played for the Dallas Desperados, Evan Cardwell.
