SMU 's New Facility
A guy from Southlake that loved Todd Dodge, hated that he left SLC for a place with less resources and facilities at UNT, then saw him fail at a colossal fashion here…then rubs SMUs wealth and success in our faces on a board that will tolerate anything to support clicks, which is very North Texas… You’re the kinda guy that probably has the kid that went to SLC and held up the sign that said “Your dad works for my dad”. UC Davis to MWC
The Mountain West will include Grand Canyon, Air Force, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, San Jose State, UNLV, UTEP, and Wyoming starting in 2026. GCU and UC Davis will be the only non-football institutions in the conference. UC Davis will compete in 16 conference-sponsored sports, which includes men's and women's basketball, but it's football program will remain at the FCS level. This is a really crappy conference and also remember they are paying Air Force and UNLV a crap ton for staying in it so everyone else is getting a smaller share of revenue pot. -

Should we add Texas State to the AAC?
I agree with you that the PAC would only be attractive if other AAC schools were following suit. I just don’t think they will. We have a pretty solid conference now. Of course Memphis, Tulane, and USF will all be wanting to move up to ACC etc when and if that opportunity arises. But for now we are in a competitive conference and we should try to build and win it. -
