My wife and I sat with his (and Connor's) grandparents at the HOD Bowl breakfast tailgate. Great folks from some small town up in Oklahoma. The grandfather pointed out Jess, wearing his letter jacket, and said "he's the next one". Maybe that bodes well for us.

Well, now 6'5, 217, he has had initial interest from Tulsa, Rice, Ok. State, Yale (Yale is coming to Martin to visit with him this upcoming week), Oregon and Mississippi St. He has been invited to a junior day at Miss St. He has also been invited to Rivals / UA camp at Desoto on March 8. Film has been sent to MEAN GREEN football. No response yet...may have something to do with the number of TE's currently on the roster. He has said that it would be "cool" to play next to his brother.

Then there is one other brother that is in 8th grade...will be a freshman this upcoming year...6'3 1/2, 180 qb/de.

Wish I new the milk man that the height came from.

golfingomez...i just would like that milk man to help out with my grocery bill.

H-towngreen...think big brother has said something.

With that many big athletes in the house I imagine them getting a scholarship is a double bonus for school AND meal plan!

Tussbus jr jr looks very good! Jess will continue to gain weight this year.

The staff needs to offer Jess Trusell a football scholarship !!! Jess would grab a NT scholarship!

Jess can move all over the field, catch good and bad passes , and can block on the O- line

or down field!

Just MHO!

Ouff, that is no short trip for the parents. But might be a good choice for the kid.

Since we seem not to have offered, probably on account of already having the numbers we need at TE, I'd say good on him for that choice, and all the best.
