1) Thanks for the recap and info from everybody who was in town.

2) Call me crazy, but I like that our class is under the radar. If they don't see you coming, don't put a target on you, etc. then so much the better. The job appears to be getting done, and the proof will be on the field if that is the case. Better to be underrated, unexpected, and disrespected prior to proving everyone wrong...than to be overrated and flop. Rock the house. That is all.

3) A few of you mentioned that the coaches didn't seem concerned about the D-Line. Perhaps they prefer not to flaunt their class and, as mentioned above, would rather see the results after the fact than spend their time fighting to get a better recruiting class ranking in the press?

The running point here is that if you're a perennial (usually P5) powerhouse, you can talk as much or as little as you want and pump up your recruiting class to the press, and either way everyone you play will be gunning for a huge game. In a mid-major it makes sense to keep the hype within your core group of faithful alumni and supporters, and let everybody else think whatever they want. That is, until the games are played. If you do it right, you won't stay unnoticed for long, but by the time everybody is paying attention, you'll have enough of a spotlight from your performance that you'll have grown the program enough to end any worries about needing the element of surprise. But in the meantime, let them ignore you and disrespect you as much as possible, because the less they pay attention to your advancements, the more likely your momentum is to put you in a position to win. If the trajectory continues in an upward trend, well...Boise State 'em ;)
