About 90% sure he would sign today whether he grayshirts or not. I think grayshirts sign during their normal signing day, just get their enrollments pushed back.

Edit: not as sure about that. MGS didn't report Shaq Jackson and Johnavahn Graham's NLIs. Maybe they are grayshirting and Chumley is not.

I CALLED IT! He has had a recurring foot injury. HENCE- the gray shirt. He is going to be a blast to watch in a year! Hopefully he keeps his speed.

Is it possible there was a qualifying issue? I guess I hope it is the foot injury that was mentioned previously, but I have not previously seen any reference to a problem with his foot.

Something just feels 'off' about the way this has gone down.

This has qualifying issue written all over it. If he were hurt enough to cause a greyshirt he probably wouldn't be the leading scorer on his basketball team right now. Late qualifiers are a great way for us to acquire talent.
