When it comes to places college coaches scour in the hope of finding top recruits, Elkhart is pretty far down the list.

The town of less the 2,000 about 10 miles south of Palestine is a little off the beaten path, which presented a challenge for running back Jeffery Wilson. The small-town star wanted to attract big-time attention from colleges and did just that with a performance that helped him earn a spot in North Texas 2014 signing class.

The Elkhart standout rushed for 2,749 yards last season when he was the MVP of District 11-2A, Division I, not to mention a Class 2A all-state selection.

Weird. At the end, Vito lists the committed players but doesn't list caleb Chumley. I get that if Chumley grayshirts he won't be in this class, but Vito has Shaq Jackson and Johnavahn Graham on the commit list on the end, and they are reportedly grayshirting as well.

Could be that they don't want anything publicized yet until finalization. We'll know Wednesday about who is grayshirting and who is in this year's class.

Don't think so. Vito has been very hesitant to list Chimley as a commit ever since the first blog entry where he talked to the coach. Vito then posted a second blog entry saying that Chumley's was not a certain commit and deleted the previous blog entry.

Sounds to me like Chumley's coach might be saying one thing while Chumley is saying something else.

More drama headed into Wednesday.

Yeah, or maybe there's questions about grades ... or perhaps he's the fallback to X.

Now that the cat is out of the bag and it appears Chumleys offer is a grayshirt, I would expect other schools to offer full rides at the last minute.

I hope this is not the case because he has a lot of potential upside. This may come down to signing day, but I personally feel he should get a full ride.

UNT is probably waiting to see how it plays out and see if they have to match. I guess similar to what NW did with X.
