Perhaps the coaches already know some of the played will not qualify and, so, will "be placed" at JUCOs. The coaches cannot comment now, of course. But, perhaps this is the reason we could be offering more scholarships than we think we have.

I think the committed players should be stack ranked using Rivals.com's rating system as of Feb. 1st. The bottom five should be gray-shirted, blue-shirted or yellow-shirted; to make room for the top 5 (Scouts rated) uncommitted that would like to sign with UNT. Unless they are kickers who may not have qualified by January 15th. If those uncommitted hold a Texas State offer they should move up the chain regardless of ESPN' s rankings. (Unless they played ball in Louisiana or 2A in Texas) Denton Buyer and Billy Ryan kids would be the exception.
