If he's class of 2011 then he will only have 1 more year of eligibility after sitting out next year. 3rd year of college right now, next year (his redshirt year) will be his 4th. Then 2016, when he becomes eligible, will be his 5th year of college (redshirt senior season).

Edit: Meant to say in 2015, when he becomes eligible.

Has to sit out per transfer rules. If a player is on scholarship at an FBS school and transfers to another FBS school then he must sit out a year. Even if he isn't going to be on scholarship here. He wouldn't have to sit out a year if he graduated from Wyoming and came here to be in a grad program that they did not offer. Not the case in this instance.

I was hopeful when he said that he'd be here in two seasons on his tweet but if it's only one year so be it. He'll have time to learn the defense and either start or be a major contributor in the year that we have him. Perpetuating quality leads to more talent committing to play here. I wish that he could be on the field with his friend Lairamie Lee but we'll take what we can get.
