I would say the max is 5...

With all of the advancements in hooker killing technology and performance enhancing supplements, I think they could kill more these days.

Wow, have fun playing for a coach that has completely given up caring about his job.

I'm sure he'll sit there and think long and hard about this on the quiet bus ride back at about 11pm on Saturday, September 6th, 2014.

I can't believe this guy committed to SMU. What do people see in that school or football program?! Overpriced private school filled with snobs with the football program seesawing from bad to pitiful. GMG

Guys...everyone's talking as if they know for a fact that his UNT offer was still strong. We don't know if perhaps the UNT coaching staff already have their targets set and "stopped" recruiting him heavy as we are pretty healthy at his position and in more need in other positions. I have a feeling he actually did want to play for UNT but that it wasn't entirely up to him.

Agree....North Texas "IS" pretty darn healthy at this position and if huge crowds scare the kid then (in deed) he made the right choice.

Yeah, North Texas may have stopped recruiting him for all I know, but going off his tape he would have seemed like a pretty good get. He has a nose for the ball. Either way I'm not too concerned about not landing him though.

Actually NT has a lot of questions at LB, far from overstocked at that position.

I would like to know why he thought the SMU visit was far superior to his one at NT.

Jones and SMU have pretty much owned NT on the recruiting front, so they are doing something right.

Believe it or not, small schools do appeal to a lot of people. Small schools also appeal to many parents. Whether it’s valid or not, a lot of parents would rather their kids go to a smaller school. The perception is that they are not going to get lost in the crowd.

Ngalo would have been a big get. He is a quick LB that has a large frame to add much more weight. If he keeps his mind right he will be a starter at SMU come 2016 season. Hopefully he flips, its not Wednesday yet Inoke!!!!! GMG

???

First of all, the LB position at UNT is not among the top positions in most need. May not be the healthiest position, but we'll be fine with the replacements we have for the moment. Secondly, Jones and SMU "owned" UNT in recruiting? We have a pretty darn nice looking class this year and our coaching staff will develop them nicely. We are certainly doing something right as well.
