When will we know

This is the easiest question of the day.

Answer: We knew the day that he got injured and was still within the first four games of the season. The injury report was submitted to the conference and automatically approved.

It only becomes an issue requiring NCAA approval if Dajon needs a 6th year to complete his 4 years of eligibility.

What is the meaning of life?

http://lyrics.wikia.com/Monty_Python:The_Meaning_Of_Life

Why are we here, what's life all about?

Is God really real, or is there some doubt?

Well tonight, we're going to sort it all out

For tonight it's the Meaning of Life.

He didn't ask for the answer to the "Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything." He simply asked "What is the meaning of life?" There's a difference. :P

I guess since we never heard details of the injury and saw him on the sidelines in pads, I'm hesitant to assume we get the desired outcome until it's official.

It seems a little more complex than just the fact that he competed in less than 20% of the games...

Medical Hardship Requirements

To be eligible for a medical hardship waiver, a student-athlete has to meet the following criteria:

  • The student-athlete must suffer the injury during one of their four seasons of college competition or during the senior year of high school.

  • The injury must be incapacitating. That means it must be a season-ending injury.

  • The injury must occur prior to the start of the second half of the season.

  • The student-athlete must not have competed in more than 30% of the season or three contests, whichever is greater.

All of these must be proven with documentation. That means medical documentation to prove the injury and that it was season-ending and participation information to show that the student-athlete did not play in too many contests.

What is the meaning of life?

Sam: I keep askin' myself: what is the point to life?

Woody: Whew. That's a tough question.

Cliff: Ehh. Well, I got the answer.

Frasier: Somehow I knew you would.

Cliff: Comfortable shoes.

Frasier: Shoes?

Cliff: Yeah. If you're not wearin' comfortable shoes, life is just chaos. I mean the greatest accomplishments in history have been made by men wearin' accommodating shoes. Uh, Frasier, tell me, who do you think is the greatest thinker in all mankind?

Frasier: I don't know, uh... Aristotle.

Cliff: There you go: sandals. Perhaps the most comfortable shoe there is. You hardly even know you have them on.

Well, that's at least Cliffy's version.

Norm's version is probably more accurate, and probably the reason that you're reading this right now.
