Maybe it's just me, but you can only say "if we had only beat _____" if it was a game we let slip away. Not one in which we never lead.

It was a game we should have won. I didn't not expect us to beat USM even though we gave them a run for their money. The Tulane game should have been a win. Just like today's game.

It was a game we should have won. I didn't not expect us to beat USM even though we gave them a run for their money. The Tulane game should have been a win. Just like today's game.

That might be the case on paper but the result on the court says something very different. As BillySee58 pointed out, we never lead in that game and managed to tie up the game with Tulane at the half but then, for reasons unknown to Mean Green fans, the starting five started the second half and Tulane never looked back.
