Big 12.

Can't go to UT

Same with Mayfield at OU

Kliff has run off his top 2 QB's after being herald as a players coach and former QB

Correction, Kliff started the best QB (Webb) in the bowl game upset of ASU and the other 2 got butt hurt and quit.

The grad transfer rule is not a league rule, it's a NCAA rule. Free to transfer to any school that has the grad program that your previous school didnt have

From the ST story.....

"But Big 12 rules prevent him from transferring within the conference, school officials said".

I would not be surprised at all to see this guy wind up playing for the birds who don't fly next year.

It's with great trepidation that I agree with this statement. This would be the main piece that UTSA needs to secure a CUSA west championship. That, and a no injury season.

Tech will be able to put some limitstions on him if they want but there is no league rule in regards to it. It was a done deal with him going to UT while Mac was there, well see what happens with Strong now there. Edited by H-towngreen

That is also a risk that colleges take when red-shirting someone... If they graduate after 4 years.... they can be gone to anywhere if they chose...with no penalty and no permission needed... The other is that may lose them to the NFL a year earlier if they are that good.

Not sure where he's going, but A&M is in need of a good quarterback next season and they are subject to the Big 12 rules. Not saying that's where he's going, but there are only 9 schools he can't transfer to!

Uh...A&M is in the SEC now?

Anyway, sounds like Kingsbury isn't quite the "cool" guy to his players that the Dallas Morning News cracked him up to be earlier in the fall. Sounds like an ass who can't face his players asking questions that might have tough answers to them.

But...what does it matter? Tech has never so much as sniffed a Big 12 title anyway. Any time they thought they were coming close OU or Texas kicked them in the jimmies and sent them back to their dirt hole with their tails between their legs...guns down.

Kingsbury is no different than that buttclown Leach. What they need is a coach who understands that there is more to football than just throwing negative four to four yard passes 60-70 times per games.

Buttwhistles. Nothing but bumbling, blustery buttwhistles...both of them.

A&M is in need of a good QB? Have you seen their roster? Or their recruiting class?
