Greetings,

My name is Eddie Delgado and I work in the Ticket Office here at North Texas. I wanted to get the word out that we are accepting deposits for the upcoming year which will save your place in line for first choice once season tickets go on sale. The Deposit to hold tickets is 50 dollars per seat.

Please give me a call at 940-369-5380 or email me at eddie.delgado@unt.edu today to make a deposit.

Thanks and Go Mean Green!

That is the plan. We are calling single game buyers and anyone else we can. If you know of some people send them our way.

Thanks!

email as well...i'm more prone to reply to an email than i am to a random call...gives me time to look over things and decide before going forward

Do single-game buyers include Heart of Dallas ticket buyers? We were talking about that before your post and figured that would be the best chance to boost the attendance numbers.

Not really season ticket related. But start promoting that SMU game NOW. There is still alot of buzz about what occurred in the bowl game and how many people we had in attendance.

That stadium needs to be packed September 6th. Initial thought of a good promotion is buy a ticket to that game get a free ticket to Nichols State (or any future game for that matter).

Most of us don't coach. Most of us don't answer the phone at the Athletic Dept. Most of us don't work at the concession stand or check tickets at the gate.

But what all of us can do is to buy season tickets.

There are a million reasons not to buy season tickets. And there is only one reason to buy...To support Mean Green football.

Your season ticket purchase says, "Count me in. I'll support North Texas football with my money and, since I've already purchased the ticket-with my presence."

Please don't tell us why you can't buy season tickets. Tell us that you stepped up and put your money where your mouth is.

Beat Texas

Hey Eddie,

I hope you guys don't start selling new season tickets to new folks without first offering them to the existing season ticket holders. We're going to double our # of tickets this year. Hopefully the seats we want aren't going to be sold out from under us.

Sound like its time to make some deposits :-)

On the bright side, who would ever have thought this would be a concern at little ole UNT?

Precisely. Gotta buy them now, or risk not having them. We definitely dont want to move.

I've already talked to my ticket rep about it and he couldn't guarantee the seats yet for 2014, he could only tell me that according to last year's map, the ones we want were open.

That's ridiculous. The way it works everywhere is that existing season ticket holders get first chance to keep their seats then new holders get to pick from what's left after the renewal period.

That is the case here as well. You would only need to put a deposit if :

1. You are a new customer

2. You want a jump start at payments if a current customer/wanted to change seats so you can get first choice of what is avialable at the time.

He said he is looking at buying additional tickets...and wants them near his current seats. Current seats not in play.
