That's great about the Honda Hybrid and all. But it's a small car, which makes it less safe on U.S. highways.

As widely known per NHTSA reports, for every 100 lbs reduced in light cars and trucks the fatality rates significany increase.

So, for consumers like myself that often have precious cargo riding along, all I care about is how much safety I can buy. The price of fuel does not matter to me in the least.
