How the hell can you look down at someone when your in a valley and the school your attempting to look down upon is on top a mountain?

Or is it more a case of.... :surrender: :surrender: :surrender: :surrender: :surrender:

I want this game to happen. The worse we can make them look the better it is for our recruiting.

It's probably too late to drop 2014 game, but I would not be surprised to have them cancel the remainder of the series due to "conference scheduling problems."

And if they decide to do that then let them. They're just another game in my opinion. As long as we're taking care of our business SMU does not really ever enter my conscience until I see constant threads about them on GMG.

It would be grossly short sighted on their part to drop the series. A rising tide lifts all ships. SMU, TCU and NT need to play one another every year. Make metroplex football THE FOOTBALL in the state.

Then the "Safeway" parking lot argument would be verified and make them look like Cowards. All DFW peeps should support the local programs....this includes the Pro teams.

Ha ha ha.... bow to the Talon!!! Go Mean Green. I thought the whole idea was play teams that were better than you to improve your system.

Isn't that why we try to play UT, OU and similar games every year? Funny to think of UNT on the other side of a "body-bag" game... but hey... I LIKE it!!! :thumbsu:

If the money is right I can see Villareal letting them out of the series...after all, it's all about the money.

I lied. If SMU gives us enough money to buy out of the series that we can pay Danny Mac enough to keep him from ever leaving, then let's do that.

There is no reason for them to get out of our series except the fear that we will kick their asses on a regular basis and thus, win the recruiting war. They understand very well who the real team in the metroplex is and it ain't them. I want to play them because it's an easy travel game and will generate local interest. Other than that, screw them. Let's play them, cause we own em a few.
