Yeah, it'll probably be like the beginning of this fall camp. DT, Mcnulty, and Brock rotated with the 1's and 2's in that order and Dajon had the 3's. It'll probably be Mcnulty, Dajon, and Greer rotating with the 1's and 2's, in that order, and Means will have the 3's.

I think that's more like it. And where it goes from there is anybody's guess. If the competition is as wide open as they're making it sound, Means could end up taking the bulk of reps with the 1s if he were to show the most.

Betcha Dajon is with the ones from the start of Spring ball.

We all know how successful I am at the wager

He may very well take the reins early on, but when you are set to have a qb competition you give the first reps right out of the gate to the guy with seniority.

If Dajon gets the first reps right off the bat, when they first start running plays w/o pads on and when they first start with pads on, then the coaches will basically be declaring Dajon as the starter and there wouldn't be much need for competition.

Again, see my wager history.

Pretty confident half way through spring he will have been running with the ones consistently, with some time for others just to work out the backup situation.

He almost took the job from a very good senior QB as a true freshman. That tells me something.

Means and the JUCO kids are the wildcards, although I think it's pretty clear Means will need some time.

JUCO kid is the only wildcard. We will know we are headed in the right direction as a program if Dajon puts a stranglehold on the QB position in Spring and does it because of talent and not by default.

McNulty is not a serious contender for the job.

Not fair! You can't change up what we're arguing about!

You said "betcha Dajon is with the ones from the start of spring ball" then you say you're confident he'll be running with the ones consistently half way through spring. I disagreed with your first statement, but I completely agree with your second one.

So what's your argument? That he'll be the first qb given a rep with the ones in spring or that he'll basically have the job locked up midway through spring?

I think he is the first QB on the field with the 1st team in the first practice AND has it wrapped up by mid spring.

It's all semantics, though. Even if the coaches know that he will start opening day of Spring, they won't tell us or the other players. They will say its open even if Dajon is taking over 3/4 the snaps with the first team.
