A way too early poll , but I'm already excited for next season. Who wins it and why

*edit Title should read "who will be.."

If I had to put money on it I'd probably say Dajon, but something tells me Brock puts it together. He hasn't gotten a bad attitude for not starting and he has the talent. I hope it's Brock or Dajon so we could throw downfield more and mix in the qb run.

I picked McNutty because he was the clear back up this year, but I will like whatever choice the coaches make. At this point we know we can trust them to do what is best for the team. I would love to have Dajon as the starter. Just hope he can pass McNutty in the spring. Seems like he could bring more to the table, when he is ready.

I agree Brock or Dajon would allow UNT to really open up the offense with more QB runs. Greer is a big armed QB who could stretch the field. To me it comes down to Greer and Dajon. Dajon brings more to the table and will win the job

McNulty was 3rd team for the opener.

You mean after Dajon had those phantom injuries to save a year of eligibility? And by phantom I mean completely legitimate.

True that. Hey I want Dajon number one, but right now it is hard to say. Andrew came in and made a few plays when needed.

Handoffs??? I wouldnt call those plays when needed...brelan could have done that...

I voted for Dajon, because he's shown more in his limited PT than anyone else has. But it's far from a foregone conclusion. The fact that they brought Greer in as a Juco and the comments he made indicate that they're giving him a ligitimate shot start. McNulty's experience could put him over the edge. Brock probably has more potential than any of them--if he could put it all together, he could blow away the field.

In other words, no idea, but Dajon anyway.

Greer is basically DT 2.0. Playing against him in high school his problem was accuracy. His completion percentage was under 50% against the playoff teams and just over 50 overall. He looked a lot improved in his JUCO tape and stats. He does have the big arm and the height. Looks like Mac's style of qb.

+1 for exactly why I say Greer. Many wanted Berglund over Thompson last off season but we saw how that turned out.
