Another long time viewer, rare poster here. Not a season ticket holder... Yet. I asked the ticket office about 2014 tickets when I picked up my bowl tickets and was told that the 2014 packages would be ready in February. I'm good with it... No chance of "memory fade" before then. Can't wait for Labor Day weekend in Austin and the whoopin we'll deliver to SMU in the home opener. After HOD experience, the better half (also alum) is on board, too. Any advice for first time season ticket purchase?

Have been watching Mean Green evolution from afar since the jump to Division I, and it's been a slow, tough journey. In reflection, I'm amazed at all the things this university has done in preparation for the here and now. Let's keep the throttle down and bring home a conference championship. GMG.

My advice is that you also join the Mean Green Club. Depending on the donation you make, you'll be eligible for much better seats and closer in parking. PM me if you have questions.

Wonder if season tickets will be more expensive this year, increased by 49 cents perhaps? Hmm, or maybe it's a flat letter rate

We aren't quite to that point yet. Lets sell out a game before we start jacking up prices.

Supply and demand.

My kid was in your class a couple years ago. You're still her favorite. I see several kids from Hedrick showing up in the wing zone as of late.

That's who I thought this was. That really means the world to me. I ran into some of my current students at a couple of different games this past season. My room is a beacon of Mean Green pride.

Griffin MS in The Colony. My room (PE) is also full of Mean Green Pride. Kids definitely know where coach came from.

imagine a few season ticket prospects getting a call from Coach MaC.

"Hello."

"Hello Bob ? This is Coach Dan McCarney. How are you ? Wasn't that a great bowl win New Year's Day ? Especially for our seniors. Reminds me of the feeling I had during those bowl games at the University of Florida. i coached there ya know. anyway, I'm calling to see if you'd be interested in buying season tickets for next year."

"well coach, I was thinking that season tickets would be a great way to show support for North Texas as well as being a lot of fun for our family."

"You're damn right its fun. And we're going to beat the hell out of those damned Southern Meth Mustangs first home game here at Apogee. A lot like we used to beat Iowa when I was head coach at Iowa State. I took them to bowl games too."

"OK Coach. You've got a deal"

"Thanks Bob. I appreciate your commitment. Go Mean Green."

I'm a teacher at The Colony HS. My room is also full of Mean Green Pride. I have college stuff all over my room. But UNT has the most stuff and it's the ONLY school in the state of Texas represented in my room.

I also have a UNT flag that hangs by the USA and Texas flags so when the kids say the pledge every day, they see the UNT flag too. :)

I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this yet, so sorry if I missed it, but I did notice a banner ad for season tickets on meangreensports.com today. It says "Just the Beginning. Click for 2014 Season Tickets."
