Coach Ryan Walters has made a big impact on this program

A lot of talk on here about Coach Mac, Coach Chico and some of the other UNT coaches who are certainly deserving. I wanted to give a shout out to Ryan Walters who I think made a very big impact for this program in a short period of time as he was hired less than a year ago. The cornerback position went from a weakness to a strength for this team and I think was one of the main reasons we had such an outstanding season. Walters has been a excellent recruiter for us and is a favorite among the players. So THANK YOU Coach Walters for all you have done and continue to do for the Mean Green program! GMG!

Same goes for Mike Simmonds. The O-line would walk thru fire for him. He and wife Jamie have them to dinner in their home weekly. We are thankful for them.
