I for one will enjoy playing the ponies in Denton and Dallas. It is a drivable game and there should be good seats available at their stadium. I think it is good for both programs and is a good match up. Do I want to beat them bad, yes i do but I think we both benefit from the games. We want more regional games and this is one. University of Phoenix is a diploma mill so you can't compare them to SMU. If you do ask yourself which would you rather have hanging on your wall? Great game yesterday with great weather and good friends. Can not wait for next year.

Who? Oh, you mean that craphole in San Antonio that has been around for a second? No. A rival has to be relevant and with a program that has been around for more than 3 years. They are neither.

I had to laugh when Cougar King went on and typed UNLV sucks. He equally hates everyone and has way too much time on his hands because he's on every board.

I noticed the UNLV fans consider him a troll also. Does he have a job or does he spend days and nights just posting uninformed tripe on message systems across the globe?

Seriously, I blocked him here and and a couple of other boards. If everyone would do the same and just ignore him he would stop wasting Harry's tech resources. When you respond to him, it's feeding the troll. Please don't do that folks!

      I think Floyd is going to be solid at the point. Our backcourt is deep with good shooters. Massey has me really intrigued as he hit the glass and appears to have some hops to him. I think I expected more out of Wright, thinking he was our prized pick up out of the portal. Lorient, even if Hodge says he is the most athletic player he has had during his time here, doesn’t really have a shot and doesn’t go up strong at the rim. I thought Sissoko looked tons better than last year. Better hands, couple of steals and solid play in the paint. He’s not going to be a double double player for us and that’s alright with the scorers around him. Stone still runs to hot. I think in his effort to be our energy/hustle player on defense, it hurts his offensive game. He rushes to shoot or pass and the same dribbling to the basket. How many breaks has he had where he didn’t finish? There is no rhythm to his offensive game and that kills him. He either has to contribute more on offense, or we need to give Cotton and Mason a shot. I don’t know much about the freshman Smith, but he needs to put in some weight and probably get up to the speed of the D1 game. Hope to see some of the youngsters tomorrow night.

      I'll be at The Pit tomorrow, but between my friend group we've got 8 tickets unable to be used. All lower level near the UNT bench - two solos, a pair, and a group of 4. If anyone needs tickets, let me know! Per my ticket rep a ticket for the men's game will also get you into the women's game at 5:30 if you can make it.
